one month away

I hope our website is becoming helpful to you with information you may want and need for our trip. We are closing in and the big day. I can’t believe its only a month away. we are looking at the many things that we still have to do and it’s daunting but i know that it will get done.
also, if you want to tell us how you feel about this, or if you are scared and want more information than this site is giving you, PLEASE email us at dbkayak@gmail.com. We dont want anyone to feel like they didnt get to talk with us about this before we left. We were shocked at the feeling of our family on a recent trip up north and we dont want anyone else to feel that way, scared with no information. We will give you all the info we can, we promise.

Congratulations! This is such a great idea! Definitely go for it while you don’t have kids (once you do, you may never kayak again).
I’m so glad that you’re taking your friends and family’s concerns seriously and trying to answer questions as best as you can to assuage their fears. Of course it’s going to be dangerous, but it looks to me like you wouldn’t want to go if you didn’t think you’d come back in one piece.
Have fun and keep in touch. We’ll have to get together sometime when you get back.

WOW! I can’t believe you guys are actually going to do this! Now is the time, though. Since this has been a dream, go for it! I’ll be praying for your safety.
What stories you’ll have to tell your children someday! Can’t wait to hear about the journey along the way (there wil be many life lessons learned I’m sure).
