Lubec, Maine to Key West, Floriday - in kayaks.

After kayaking all the way from Lubec, Maine, in approximately 12 hours Dan Bethany will be landing at the southernmost point of the United States, in Key West Florida. That’s right, on Friday December 11th, 2009 Dan and Bethany finish their epic journey.

You can watch their arrival via a webcam that’s watching the southernmost buoy. Check it out, and be sure to be watching tomorrow at 11!

I hope that shot was taken from the No Name Pub on Big Pine Key. It’s a very cool place to hang out, have a beverage and some of the best pizza in the universe.
